Karlštejn was originally built as a peaceful countryside escape for King Charles IV. But this "weekend cottage" quickly got promoted to something far more serious – a royal vault with a view, and the ultimate medieval safe for the Bohemian and Imperial Crown Jewels.

Our trip will start with a short walk through the village. Then we head uphill (yes, there will be stairs – Charles IV did not believe in elevators) to explore the castle and uncover the stories and secrets.

Adventure Mode: Feeling energetic? Join us for a walk through nature to the spectacular limestone quarry, often referred to as the "Czech Grand Canyon." Velká Amerika is wildly photogenic.

Relax Mode: Prefer to slow things down? Settle into one of the village cafés and admire the atmosphere.

Hluboká Castle: In the morning, we'll visit Hluboká Castle – proof that fairy tales may not be real, but their architecture certainly is. After a walk through the park, we'll head inside the palace to explore its interiors.

Český Krumlov: The afternoon is reserved for Český Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage town that refuses to be rushed. You will feel the historical atmosphere during the walk through the small streets surrounded by Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture.

We will finish our walk by the Vltava River, and you will enjoy a boat ride through the old town. The finale of the day will be a traditional Czech evening: in a pub, with a beer.

We'll wrap up the weekend in Kutná Hora, a town that once made its fortune on silver. We will visit St. Barbara's Cathedral, a breathtaking late Gothic monument reflecting the town's medieval prosperity.

Sedlec Ossuary: Then comes the highlight for the brave: the Sedlec Ossuary. This small chapel is decorated with the remains of about 50,000 people – arranged into chandeliers and stylish bone designs. It's a little creepy, strangely artistic, and impossible to forget.

Our visit includes a dive into Kutná Hora's silver-powered past at the Museum of Silver. You'll even get the chance to try coin minting yourself.

Špilberk Castle: Sitting high above the city and offering views well worth the uphill walk.

Astronomical Clock: You'll encounter the famously unconventional clock, a daily reminder that Brno enjoys doing things a little differently.

Villa Tugendhat: Architecture lovers won't want to miss this UNESCO-listed modernist icon. The city centre is ideal for walking tours, offering a blend of cultural landmarks and modern architecture.
